Altar rail kneeler

The church of St Mary in Shirehampton uses for its kneeler motif a lily on a deep blue background. This design is repeated on tapestry throughout the church, on the Altar kneeler, in the lady chapel and on individual kneelers.

The original church was severely damaged by fire in 1928 but was rebuilt to be Consecrated in 1930. Further work on the church has added a meeting area with refreshments to keep it at the heart of the community.
